Let's see how long we can keep this up but I thought it might be fun to do a "week in review". In this blog post/ newsletter, we can share some highlights from the week, discuss the amazing vintage that has come through the store and any exciting news we may have for weeks to come. If you read the newsletter or the blog, you may even get some insider information that others do not know!
So what have we been up to this week?
While we have been making sure to enjoy the weather and take some time outside, we have been getting ourselves organised for an incredibly busy few weeks kicking things off with a pop up in Ponsonby Central again starting on Monday the 13th of March.
We also photographed every piece of knitwear remaining in the studio and discounted it like crazy to make way for a new collection coming in the near future... imagine, a cohesive collection of beautifully made, natural wool pieces in Tracey's signature fun styles and colours. Check out the knitwear remaining here.
We picked up the incredible Mid-Century sideboard with glass doors featured in one of our latest posts and had so much fun styling with that. We are now finding it very hard not to hold onto it but rest assured it will be available sometime this week to purchase.
I am pleased to say that our gorgeous Brutalist Steven Chun copper piece has found a new home with a wonderful collector and will be very much appreciated and looked after and a tonne of other incredible vintage has made its way to new homes throughout the week.
In our down time, I personally have been enjoying interior design videos on Youtube and always have recommendations if you are after them. In particular two videos brought me joy this week and I have linked them down below in case you would like to view them.
- Tour Rajiv Surendra’s NYC Apartment Filled With Handmade Decor...and Chalk Art! | Handmade Home Tour - Link here. The excitement, care and joy with which he discussed collecting and enjoying the items in your home fills me with such inspiration and makes me so proud to be a collector myself.
- Paige Wassel gets a Mid-Century Shelving Unit - Link here. Just a cool Los Angeles based prop stylist and interior design youtuber getting an incredibly epic piece of furniture, styling it beautifully and talking about vintage t-shirts.
We have been working hard to make sure the website is as current and easy to navigate as possible and please don't forget that if you ever need anything you can always reach out at riversidereloved@gmail.com or message us on Instagram.
If you made it to the end of this, you are a superstar, and we thank you for your support. I have a sneaking suspicion this will be like the many times I have tried to start a journal and failed after one week, but the optimist in me would like to think you may hear from me again.
Enjoy the remainder of your weekend and we hope you have a wonderful week.
Thanks
D
